Throw Back Thursday is an incredibly good excuse to live in the past. To remember the past. To learn from the past. Today, we're re-visiting something that we've always known... Did you know that today is Cuban Independence Day?! Probably not, because there are multiple Cuban Independence Days. So let's just celebrate old cars, saucy music, and heaps of glitter! April showers bring May... showers. It's been drizzling for a couple days here in the Southeast, a fact that nobody is upset about. Before the dog days of summer are officially upon us, we will gladly play in the rain. In fact, we will gladly do most things outside on pleasant day in May. Things both typical and unspeakable. Things natural and things preposterous. Things rational and things inexplicably stupid. But enough about the weather. It's Freaker Friday. Game on. The more we play with Freakers, the more unexpectedly utilitarian uses we find for them.  This one, Kitteh Casts, was shamelessly stolen from some guy on the internet named JMarkle. His cat, pFluffer, recently had surgery on both legs and kept picking at the bandages. pFluffer not only has the best cat name in the universe, but also the best cat owner because JMarkle has been using Freakers as kitty casts over the bandages and much to everybody's delight, pFluffer hasn't even tried to rip them off. 'Twas love at first freak.  And that concludes your daily dose of uplifting cat stories. Back to the drivel, children. 

Our fearless road warriors have finally returned after a week of ... road war? The beloved BabyBTruck has been in a Las Vegas storage unit since January because we scheduled ourselves for exactly 4 gazillion trade shows in the desert this year. Last week, it was confirmed: it was finally time to bring her home.  After a week of the open road, close encounters with a tribe of bobcats, and a handful of trucks health-scares, she's home! Now that it's confirmed that everybody survived, let's all take a breath of relief and reflect on the totality of weirdness roadtrips in America deliver. 

We are more than excited to reintroduce the Freaker LULZ Line. LULZ Line: a limited-edition internet-only collection of Freakers! You can find a charming owl Freaker at your neighborhood boutique, but designs like an-alpaca-smoking-a-cigarette-with-laser-eyes-staring-at-a-girl-butt will stay quarantined in their motherland: the internet. Our latest LULZ is a tribute to filthy Houston rap, the misuse of Sprite, and the cough syrup that may or may not have put Lil Wayne in a coma simply because it felt like doing so. Have we doted on Pete The Dog's children too much already? Evidently not, because the entire city of Wilmington picked up where we left off.  Pete's lady child, Beyonce has officially been named the Cutest Dog Of Wilmington in Encore Magazine. Encore goes a step beyond even our adoration, by giving Beyonce a full length interview and legitimizing her use of hashtagging herself as #BeyonceTheDog.  Since that fated day, Beyoncé, Pete, Nelson Danzig Mandela, and Girlfriend have been running the show. “Like a dog hotel,” Beyoncé clarifies. “Ridin’ dirty and causing trouble with my dog mates.” Read the full interview here and wallow in the glory!

This week, we're thinking big. Space is big. Space is amazing. You know what else is amazing? Earth. We're weird little critters living on a weird little planet. In 1977, two Voyager space crafts were sent into the great beyond carrying a collection of human treasures.
