We grabbed the Shark Tank hero just after the New Year and asked him some hard-hitting questions. 

One year ago this week, our dreams came true & #FreakerFeet was funded with $255,000 on Kickstarter. We hug you love you thank you (to infinity & beyond!) for being such an HUGE part of this wild ride and excellent adventure! Earthlings unite. Freak everyone! Chicky chicky boom boom! The awesome news: about 80% of the Kickstarter packages have flown out of our warehouse and freaking feet across across the world! The so-so news: 80% is not 100%. We had some popular styles, they went fast. The mill is rushing to make more! We had some licensing issues, but they’re now solved. It’s all coming in but it’s taking longer than planned. By the first week of August, we’re expecting 95% of the orders to be out! There were a couple of collegiate designs that have experienced additional set-backs. Included are Arizona State, Tennessee and Auburn. These can take up to 2 months to get in from production. If you ordered one of these college designs and are not in the mood to wait any longer, we’re offering a “Zach’s Choice” option for faster shipment of your package, and it should be delivered by the first week of August! If you decide to let us pick a style for your missing collegiate one, you will be rewarded with an extra pair of Freaker Feet and a matching Freaker! If you’d like to go for this option, shoot us an email letting us know that you want your package to ship with Zach’s Choice instead of the “problem child” design that we’re waiting for! support@freakerusa.com If you have any questions - don’t be shy! We’re scattered about for trade shows right now (high-fives from Atlanta!!!!), so we may take a couple days longer to get back to you - but we are 100% listening to all of your hopes and dreams and are here to make sure that you’re smiling.   Helloooooooooo friends!! If you haven’t received your Kickstarter reward package yet - don’t worry! Your probably not on your postman’s hit-list (yet) and you’re probably not the victim of mailbox embezzlement. Your package probably isn’t having an affair with another Kickstarter Backer. Your package probably hasn’t chickened out and left you at the shipping altar. Instead, it’s waiting waiting anxiously to be shipped home. Really. It won’t shut up about it. It loves you. It wants to freak you. So badly. But we can’t ship it until we have all of your chosen designs in from production - a process which has been just a tidbit behind schedule. We were able to start chipping away at the 5,000 Kickstarter packages in late May and we’re continuing to send ones we have the stock for! Around 30% of packages have already been shipped and we’re working diligently to get the rest of these babies out of our door and into your arms and onto your feet. Quick update on your Kickstarter packages: Our sweet mill is rushing to get the last of our socks through manufacturing and we have about 60% off the styles here, ready to freak! We still have to wait until they’re all here before we can start the super-shipping process, but things are looking bright. We’ve also been waiting on our new fancy pants retail boxes, and guess what?! They arrived this morning! We’re super excited to get this shipping ball a-rolling, and we’ve already started chipping away at some of the smaller packages (I'm lookin' at you, $1 reward tier.) YOU GUYS! You did it!!! You made Freaker Feet a real thing in real life! We're overflowing with unbounded gratitude, wild bewilderment, and a whole bucketload of intense love! No words can describe how melty our hearts are. Puddles. Love puddles. (The innocent kind.) Our campaign ended at 10am this morning. With 18 hours left, we still needed $70,000 to reach our funding goal. With 12 hours left, we still needed $50,000. With half an hour left, we still needed $4,000. With 6 minutes left, we still needed $1,500. And you made it happen. WHAT?! You are incredible! We're acting immediately. It all starts now. 6 days left! Over the past year we’ve worked really hard at trying to create more American jobs, and now we need your help. The Freaker Feet Kickstarter campaign is a big one, 127 sock designs and $250K is a lofty goal, but it’s what is needed to make a splash in an industry that usually outsources jobs even though we have the infrastructure here at home! If Freaker Feet were outsourced, you would only be helping ME and my Freakerteam make a living. But because we will be making them in America with companies that source from America, you’ll be helping at least 8 other companies, the people that work there, and their families, too. That’s not even counting all the different suppliers they use, like the farms where the cotton grows in Mississippi, Arkansas, Alabama, Louisiana and Georgia! The 'people at the top' and the 'lack of jobs' we complain about, are the people and the problems we choose to support (or not to support!) every time we spend money. Do you support products that are made and sourced in the USA when you can, or companies that bypass all those American jobs and trample on our environment just to make a higher profit and save you a few bucks? We can change the world and our future buy changing where we spend our money. Back American made companies and create jobs! Do you see what we can do?!!! Those "big guys" we point fingers at, but at the same time we wait for them to change things because we’ve convinced ourselves that they have all the power and we have none… we can shift the power and force them to change, just by changing where we spend our money.
